One could say that lichen is a living process, the interaction between a terrestrial alga and a fungus. A symbiotic relationship that allows them to adapt to almost any environment, even otherworldly, and symbolises our ancestry. They are an example of resilience and their presence is an indicator of purity. They obtain most of their nutrients from the air and are therefore very sensitive to impurities in the atmosphere. Lichen, as you might have guessed, is the muse of this necklace. Abstract yet ordered chaos and resistant delicacy are the characteristics of this piece made in high quality recycled 930 silver. Inspired by a walk through the volcanoes of the island, it has been handmade in our workshop in Famara. The pendant is delivered on a semi-rigid chain with high polish.
